Pythagoras Park

Park
Giardini di Pitagora, Crotone - Valeria Rogliano
The Pythagoras Park in Crotone (formerly Pignera Park) is a large space on a hill in the south-eastern part of the city: a garden-museum surrounded by greenery, a tribute to the great mathematician and philosopher of antiquity who founded his Initiatic School in Crotone. Pythagoras Park, one of the main “Pythagorean places” in the city, consists of a botanical garden displaying no less than 17 installations dedicated to Pythagorean mathematics and a museum building. The latter, partially underground and with a roof garden roof, is conceived as a belvedere over the park and the city. In the Pythagoras Park Museum it is possible to deepen one's knowledge of mathematics in an interactive and entertaining way, through the use of new technologies.
