Carnival Race in Crotone

In Calabria, Carnival merriment lights up on the blue sea! 

From 10 to 13 February, the BPER International Carnival Race 2024 will be on stage in Crotone with hundreds of athletes from clubs all over Europe for the challenge of the first international event for baby sailors (juniors and cadets) representing several nations (Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Sweden, Ukraine and the USA).

In the waters of the spectacular sea stadium in front of the Capo Colonna promontory, the 9th edition of the Carnival Race of the Optimist class organised by the Crotone Sailing Club.

On the mainland, on the other hand, there are many events within the event: concerts, theatre performances, cultural events, and fairs.

So, confetti and sea breeze... Wind the sails!
