On 8 March 2025, the National Archaeological Museum of Crotone will host a special event dedicated to the history and rights of women. The meeting, entitled ‘’Women meet the Diadem and the Treasure of Hera - Women's rights: from the evidence in the finds to modern art‘’, will offer a journey through archaeology, art and current affairs, exploring the role of women in history and society.
The event will see the participation of experts and professionals who will address the topic from different perspectives. Among the speakers, Gregorio Aversa will illustrate the historical value of the famous diadem of Hera, while Erika Ursini will talk about female photography. An occasion to celebrate International Women's Day through culture, art and reflection, enhancing the link between past and present.
