A journey through time, nature and Calabrian culture. With Transhumance, the thousand-year-old tradition of transhumance returns to the forefront amidst the enchanted landscapes of the Sila Plateau, in a journey that unites men, animals and territories in a profound and authentic bond.
Four stages, one single rhythm: the slow, cadenced rhythm of the shepherds and Podolica herds, custodians of an ancient knowledge that continues to live and tell its story.

Accompanying each stage: good food, tastings of Calabrian identity products, live music, storytelling, meetings and breathtaking views. An event that celebrates the intangible heritage of our region, reconnecting communities, travellers and visitors with the deepest roots of the territory. Transhumance is an experience to be lived at a slow pace, amidst silences, scents and stories that only the Sila can tell.
