As every year, the Accademia dei Caccuriani renews its appointment with popular theater, offering a festival to be enjoyed: Dialects on Stage 2025. The initiative is part of the rich program of the Caccuri Literary Prize, now in its fourteenth edition, and is confirmed as one of the most anticipated and popular events of the Calabrian summer.
From July 27 to August 1, the Teatro Comunale di Caccuri will host brilliant and engaging performances every evening, starting at 9:00 p.m., staged by theater companies from different areas. The texts, recited in dialect, are an authentic expression of local culture and convey to the audience all the vitality, irony, and wisdom of popular traditions.
All evenings are free admission until full capacity is reached and represent a unique opportunity to discover, through the language of theater, the linguistic and cultural nuances of Calabrian communities.
