Teatro Gentile - Theatre Season

The theatre season at the Gentile Theatre in Cittanova is organised by the Kalomena Association. This annually renewed review is distinguished by its wide variety, offering the public performances of different genres, performed by leading national and international theatre companies with thousands of actors, musicians and dancers involved, the programme takes the form of a journey through the many facets of scenic art. In addition to shaping the theatre season, the festival is also distinguished by its wealth of experience and success in the field of major musical events.

The 2024/2025 playbill, which is international in scope, opens on 16 November with the special event ‘ALICE master songs’, and will then host productions of the highest prestige such as the Royal National Ballet of Georgia with ‘Fire of Georgia’ and the moving ‘Historia’ with Samuel Peron and Veera Kinnunen, a touching story of migration and love told through dance. The programme shines with the presence of nationally renowned artists such as Giorgio Colangeli, Paola Quattrini, Edoardo Siravo and the multifaceted Gabriele Cirilli, offering a perfect balance of classical prose, comedy and theatrical innovation.

The shows, which will be held at the Gentile Theatre starting at 8.30 p.m., are accessible by subscription or individual tickets.
