From 19 July to 30 October 2025, the evocative spaces of the MACA – Acri Contemporary Art Museum will host the solo exhibition “Suspended Time” by Elio De Luca, an internationally renowned artist originally from Pietrapaola and based in Prato. The exhibition, curated by Antonella Bongarzone, represents a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in the poetic and visionary universe of one of the most refined protagonists of the contemporary art scene.

Moving between symbols, dreams and memories, De Luca constructs an inner landscape where painting becomes an emotional narrative. His paintings – intense, vibrant and rich in dreamlike references – offer the viewer a threshold between reality and imagination, an invitation to let themselves be carried away by deep and timeless emotions.

In each work, colours and shapes merge into a suspended aesthetic, where vision is transformed into introspection and the gaze becomes a journey. The rarefied atmospheres, enigmatic characters and undefined places all refer to a “different time”, far from everyday life, capable of touching intimate and universal chords.

The exhibition is open to the public free of charge until 30 October 2025, with the following opening hours:

  • Tuesday to Saturday: 09:00–13:00 / 15:00–19:30
  • Sunday: 10:15–13:00 / 16:30–20:00
