On Friday 26 September 2025, the University of Calabria will open its doors to a new edition of SuperScienceMe – European Researchers' Night, the major event that combines scientific dissemination, creativity and entertainment to promote dialogue between research and society.

For the twelfth consecutive year, the Arcavacata campus will host a packed programme: from 8:30 a.m., there will be workshops, guided tours, experiments and exhibitions spread across museums, libraries and departments, as well as themed activities such as EU Space, Innovation Space and Gender Space. New for 2025 is the Agorà PNRR, a space dedicated to Unical projects funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, and special initiatives for The Children's University, including fun scientific activities, games and creative workshops.

In the afternoon, from 4.30 p.m., SuperScienceMe moves to Cosenza along Corso Mazzini with activities organised by researchers, entertainment for children, mini tours of the historic centre and Nordic Walking trails to discover the urban heritage.

The grand finale will take place in the evening, back on campus: at 9 p.m. in Piazza Vermicelli, there will be a free concert by Franco126, preceded by an open act by Calabrian singer-songwriter Speedy and a DJ set by Fabio Nirta.
