On 4 August 2025, in the heart of Aspromonte, Antonimina will host one of the most authentic and heartfelt festivals in Calabrian tradition: Mangiandu e Scojandu, dedicated to two specialities of local pastoral cuisine, suppularia and warm ricotta.
An event that evokes home, memories, traditions handed down through the generations and expert hands. Suppularia – a rustic and flavourful stuffed bread typical of the area – meets the delicacy of freshly drained ricotta, served hot, steaming and fragrant. During the evening, the streets of the village are transformed into one large table, where visitors can savour dishes prepared live by the village housewives, accompanied by traditional songs, folk music and stories from local farmers, guardians of ancient crafts.
