Illustration takes the lead in San Lucido

On Saturday 24 May 2025, the suggestive Municipal Cloister of San Lucido, in the province of Cosenza, will host the Radici Festival, an entire day dedicated to illustration, creativity and the sharing of artistic experiences.
Designed to inspire young people and valorise visual art as a powerful expressive tool, the festival offers workshops, talks, music and a free exhibition with works by established illustrators, active in the days leading up to the event.
The programme opens in the morning with a welcome speech (9.15 a.m.) to the winners of the creative contest, who will take part in an exclusive workshop led by Giuseppe Talarico, Calabrian illustrator and graphic designer.
At 11:15 a.m., space will be given to talks with special guests:
- Aeden Russo, illustrator and author of kinetic e-poetry
- Anna Catalano, photographer and artistic director of Fotografia Calabria Festival
In the afternoon, from 5.30 p.m. onwards, other professionals in the field will talk about their paths and creative projects:
- Giuseppe Talarico - The Calabreser
- Matteo Sainato - MUDIAC
- Valentina Romeo - Etimologia Magazine
- Deborah De Rose - Cose Belle Festival
- Giacomo Triglia - Director and screenwriter
The day ends in music, at 22:00, with a live performance at the Gafiu Bar, amid convivial atmospheres and new creative connections.
