Performing Festival

For the entire month of May, Catanzaro will be transformed into an open-air laboratory with Performing Festival 2025, a project that fuses performing arts, research and active citizenship.

Three weeks of shows, talks, installations, workshops and site-specific performances will animate the city's symbolic places - from the Academy of Fine Arts to the Politeama Theatre, from the Marca Museum to Villa Margherita - in a widespread programme that explores contemporary themes through different languages.

The festival will also host leading figures from the international scene such as ORLAN, Valentina Carrasco, Branko Milisković, Luana Perilli, Ant Hampton and Tim Etchells, offering the public a plural vision of contemporary performance art.

Performing Festival 2025 is an invitation to experience the city in a new way, where art, urban space and collective participation intertwine in an ever-evolving cultural narrative.
