Rigugghju Fest

The Rigugghju Fest debuts in the heart of Santa Caterina dello Ionio on 25 April 2025, celebrating life in small villages with a programme full of authentic experiences.

From morning to evening, the festival will offer a journey through history, culture and traditions. The event will open with a fascinating archaeo-trekking experience along the Basilian Way to the suggestive site of the Madonna della Neve. During the day, you will be able to explore churches and historical buildings, participate in guided tours, take part in workshops for families and children, and discuss topics related to life in the villages at discussion tables. There will also be moments of conviviality with typical gastronomy at lunch and dinner, and to close the evening an engaging concert in the square by the Capofortuna Band.
