Painted Sculpture. Transpositions on sandpaper

From 5 April to 5 May 2025, the Lametino Archaeological Museum in Lamezia Terme will host the exhibition ‘’Painted Sculpture. Transpositions on sandpaper‘’, an evocative visual journey that marks the return of artist Antonio Saladino to the place where it all began.

Protagonists of the exhibition are 47 pictorial works created on glass paper, where the sculptural concept - never abandoned - is transformed and renewed through the pictorial gesture. The works range from the reinterpretation of already known sculptures to the exploration of new formal possibilities, in a continuous dialogue between material, colour and meaning. The exhibition is divided into three thematic nuclei - playful, introspective and spiritual - offering an itinerary that interweaves symbols, metaphors, geometries and words. Each title becomes an interpretative key, each work a stage in a journey that invites you to discover the intersection between vision and reflection.
