Ottobrata Sidernese

On 31 October and 1 November 2024, the ancient Motta Sideroni will host the fifth edition of the Ottobrata Sidernese, a weekend of culture, traditions and fun. The streets of the medieval village of Siderno Superiore will come alive with travelling shows, street performers and exhibition stands of typical autumn products and local handicrafts, creating an enchanted atmosphere lit by a thousand candles.

Inspired by ancient bacchanals, the event celebrates the arrival of autumn with propitiatory rites and festivities that combine tradition and modernity. In the charming amphitheatre, there will be traditional and inclusive games, while the evening will be punctuated by concerts and dance performances that will enliven the village.

The ancient noble palaces, such as Palazzo Falletti and Palazzo De Mojà, will host photographic and pictorial exhibitions, artistic and literary performances, and conferences on the development of the territory. Clothes and jewellery made by local designers will also be on display in a fashion show showcasing local creativity and craftsmanship.
