After the great success of the first edition, ‘Nu Scialo’ returns to the evocative historical centre of Scalea, on the splendid Riviera dei Cedri. From 4 to 6 October 2024, the event will combine tradition and innovation, with the aim of promoting historic villages through digital marketing and the rediscovery of the local food and wine heritage.
The initiative will offer workshops and masterclasses dedicated to digital promotion, with a focus on techniques to enhance the territory and its traditions through social media, while keeping its cultural identity intact. Among the main events will be a masterclass on Calabrian fusillo with chef Federica Di Lieto and a GastroTour through the historic centre with gastronomic stops and visits to the main points of interest. There will also be an expo area with more than 20 local companies exhibiting, while on Sunday it will be possible to take part in an exclusive GastroTour by boat along the Scalea coastline, with wine tastings and local specialities.
The event is free, but some tours and masterclasses require advance booking, as places are limited.
