On Saturday, 24 January at 8.30 pm, the Casa delle Culture in Cosenza will host "Novecento: A Cultural Music Salon", an event conceived and performed by Sasà Calabrese, with artistic direction by Vera Segreti and production by Teatro in Note. This unique event offers an immersive experience, intertwining music and literature to provide an intimate exploration of some of the most significant voices of the 20th century.
Through words and music, the audience will be taken on a journey through stories, poems, and songs, evoking the atmosphere, emotions and reflections of this complex and contradictory century. References range from literature to singer-songwriter music and include figures such as Italo Calvino, Alda Merini, Fabrizio De André, Domenico Modugno, and Pier Paolo Pasolini. The intention is not to provide a chronological reconstruction, but rather to restore fragments of memory and personal vision.
'Novecento' is an intimate cultural salon designed for attentive, participatory listening, in which the narrative unfolds through the direct relationship between performer and audience. Admission is by reservation only.
