NoBorders Festival

The NoBorders Festival returns to Rende for its third edition, a cultural and social project promoted by Entropia APS in collaboration with the Sicilian association Strauss APS and a network of local partners. From 7 July 2025 and throughout the month, 34 young volunteers from the European Solidarity Corps will arrive in Calabria for an immersive experience of training, dialogue and participation.

The festival is a widespread and itinerant event, touching on various locations in the area: from the terrace of the DAM at the University of Calabria to Villaggio Europa and Viale dei Giardini. The theme of the 2025 edition is psychosocial well-being, the central theme for a month of activities ranging from creative workshops, open-air cinema, concerts, sports, games, trekking and intercultural encounters. Among the most eagerly awaited events are the two Intercultural Nights, where young volunteers will bring flavours and traditions from all over Europe in an open exchange with the public.

The DAM also welcomes back the “Il Cinefilo d'Estate” film festival, curated by I Cinepresi: four screenings under the stars every Monday, for a relaxed summer cinema experience.
