A special night to experience culture in a new and engaging way: on Saturday 17 May 2025, Rende opens the doors of its museum spaces for the Museum Night, an event that combines art, creativity and active participation in the promotion of the city's heritage.
The evening opens at 6 p.m. with the inauguration of the Roberto Bilotti Ruggi d'Aragona Museum - “Ceramics of Calabria”, inside the evocative Palazzo Bucarelli in the old town centre, a must for anyone wishing to discover the Calabrian ceramic tradition in a contemporary key.
From 7 p.m. to 1 a.m., it will be possible to visit the municipal museums free of charge, which will remain open extraordinarily, animated by initiatives designed for a public of all ages.
Among the most eagerly awaited activities will be the “Little Guides Grow” project, with students from local schools accompanying visitors to discover the museum collections in the historic centre and the Museum of the Present, offering a fresh and participatory look.
In the old town centre, from 7 p.m., space will also be given to the world of comics with Cosenza Comics, which will bring performances, games and themed guests, while at the Museum of the Present there will be the engaging Squid Game Experience, inspired by the famous series.
At 7.30 p.m., the Pro Loco of Rende Centro Storico will guide visitors to the discovery of the city's historic churches, in an itinerary between sacred art and local history.
