A summer of art, music and culture comes to life in the magnificent setting of the National Archaeological Museum of Reggio Calabria with Museo in Fest – Festival of the Arts, an event that will enliven the cultural heart of the city from 17 June to 30 August 2025 with 21 highly appealing events.

Jazz and symphonic concerts, meetings with artists, shows for children, conferences and theatre: the MArRC is transformed into a veritable stage overlooking the Strait of Messina. On the panoramic terrace and in Piazza De Nava, nationally and internationally renowned performers and artists will take turns in a varied programme designed for a diverse and enthusiastic audience.

Among the most eagerly awaited events:

  • 4 July: Mille Bolle Blu, jazz concert by Stefano Di Battista's quartet with the voice of Nicky Nicolai
  • 5 July: meeting with Carlo Verdone, organised by the Anassilaos Association
  • 12 July: Music under the stars, the opera concert by the F. Cilea Conservatory
  • 18 July: Rispetto – Le radici del futuro (Respect – The roots of the future), a show by Federico Quaranta
  • 27 July: the quartet of Federico Mecozzi, violinist of Ludovico Einaudi
  • 1 August: comedy and irony with Gennaro Calabrese
  • 2 August: the refined Quatuor Akilone, string quartet of the Dimore del Quartetto
  • 8 August: grand concert by pianist and composer Remo Anzovino
  • 16 August: celebration of the anniversary of the discovery of the Bronzes with the Disco concert-party by the Brutia Orchestra
  • 22 August: meeting-show with Nino Frassica
  • 30 August: closing with the theatrical reading Tre Piccole Ombre (Three Little Shadows) by the Mana Chuma Teatro company

The festival will be rounded off with a programme dedicated to children, featuring shows and theatre workshops by the Teatrop company and four conferences on historical and cultural topics, from Italo-Greek monasticism to the role of wine in Ancient Greece.

All events are free of charge or require booking, subject to availability.
