From 16 to 18 May 2025, Cirò Marina will become the capital of comics with the second edition of the National Graphic Novel Award ‘Magna Grecia Comics’, an event celebrating the art of illustrated narration within the prestigious Aurora Festival.
Three days dedicated to the world of graphic novels and comics, including exhibitions, workshops, meetings with authors and moments of discussion with students and fans. The heart of the event will be the official award ceremony of the Magna Grecia Comics Prize, designed to highlight the best works and new talents on the national scene.

Official opening at the Archaeological Museum of Cirò Marina with the opening of the exhibition and presentation of the competing works. - Saturday 17 May, 10:00 a.m.
Workshops with guest authors, reserved for students of the IIS Giuseppe Gangale of Cirò Marina. - Saturday 17 May, 16:00 - 19:00
Copy-signing session with the award-winning authors, at Palazzo Porti. - Saturday 17 May, 19:00
Official award ceremony for the Magna Grecia Comics Prize, also at Palazzo Porti. - Sunday 18 May, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Final copy-signing session with the winning authors.
During the event, a special exhibition dedicated to Eva Kant and Diabolik will also be inaugurated, with the special participation of Riccardo Nunzianti, official illustrator of Diabolik, which will be open from 16 to 30 May 2025 at the Civic and Archaeological Museum of Cirò Marina.
