Living Crib of Fiumefreddo Bruzio

In the heart of the charming village of Fiumefreddo Bruzio, one of the most eagerly awaited events of the Christmas festivities returns: the sixteenth edition of the Living Crib. An exciting journey between tradition and history, which transforms the ancient streets into a living fresco of the Nativity.

Around 100 figures, dressed in costumes inspired by the customs of the time, will animate the main street, from the Porta di Sopra to the Torretta. This year, the Nativity scene is enriched with themed villages distributed along the route, offering an even more immersive narrative than in previous editions.

This year's novelty includes soldiers on horseback, who will watch over scenes of daily life, old trades and ancient arts, while the aroma of traditional dishes such as bean soup and grispelle will welcome visitors. Accompanying the evening will be characteristic music and performances along a route illuminated by the warm light of torches.
