In August, the Laos Archaeological Park in Marcellina, a hamlet of Santa Maria del Cedro, opens its doors to visitors with dedicated opening hours to enjoy an experience combining history and nature.
Guardian of the heritage of the ancient city of Laos, founded by the Oenotrians and later inhabited by the Greeks, the site recounts centuries of civilisation through the remains of dwellings, walls and artefacts that evoke everyday life in the past.
Throughout August 2025, the park will be open at the following times:
- Wednesday to Saturday: 09:30 – 12:30
- Sunday: 08:00 – 13:00
Admission is free, an unmissable opportunity for citizens and tourists who wish to discover one of the most fascinating places on the Riviera dei Cedri, immersed in a landscape that combines the sea and thousands of years of history.
