The 21st edition of the Karnivalli Arbëreshëvet is back, celebrating Carnival as an expression of the local identity and culture. The initiative highlights popular traditions, creative allegorical floats, and masked group participation, transforming the streets of participating villages into spaces for celebration and community.
The program takes place over two days in San Demetrio Corone and Santa Sofia d'Epiro. There will be parades, music, games, dancing, and entertainment for children. The event provides an opportunity to promote Arbëreshë cultural heritage through the language of Carnival and give voice to a tradition that continues to thrive through participation.
