From 2 to 4 December 2025, the third edition of DramaFest, the festival conceived and directed by Max Mazzotta and dedicated to contemporary drama, returns to the Piccolo Teatro Unical in Rende.
Three days of performances, meetings, conferences and dialogues between artists, scholars and students to explore theatre as a space for reflection and discussion. The programme includes performances by leading companies and protagonists on the national scene — including Carrozzeria Orfeo, Babilonia Teatri, Daria Deflorian and Libero Teatro — alongside in-depth discussions organised in collaboration with the Department of Humanities at the University of Calabria.
From the inaugural conference 'Writing theatre today' to the Critical Observatories with authors and companies, DramaFest confirms itself as a laboratory of ideas and languages that brings together the stage and education, research and artistic creation.
