From 13 November to 14 December 2025, Santa Severina renews its commitment to culture with the 17th edition of Library Days, an initiative that combines reading, research and dialogue. Seven meetings dedicated to literature, history and contemporary thought will enliven the most evocative spaces of the village – the Castle, the Diocesan Museum and the 'F. Le Pera' Municipal Library – transforming the town into a meeting place for authors, scholars and readers.
The event, part of the 'Giovani in Biblioteca' (Young People in the Library) project, is promoted by the Municipality of Santa Severina with the support of the Department for Youth Policies and Universal Civil Service. The festival is the result of collaboration between institutions and local cultural organisations such as the Cooperativa Aristippo, the Pro Loco Siberene, the Liceo Classico 'Diodato Borrelli', the Anastasis association and 'I Borrelliani'. .
Each meeting will offer a different perspective on knowledge: from contemporary fiction to historical research, from academic reflection to archaeological investigation. Among the protagonists are prominent writers and scholars such as Anna Mallamo, Margherita Corrado, Bakhita Ranieri, Vincenzo Naymo and Fabrizio Mollo.
