14th edition of the Caccuri Literary Prize - presentation of a book on the colonization of the Sila

On Monday, August 4, 2025, at 9:00 p.m., Piazza Italia in Santa Rania (KR) will host a special event as part of the 14th edition of the Caccuri Literary Prize. The evening will open with the presentation of the book “Genesi storica della colonizzazione silana” (Historical Genesis of the Colonization of Sila), published by Publisfera and edited by Angelo Zumbo and Giuseppe Tallarico. The event will offer an evocative retelling of the history of Sila between the end of the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century, accompanying the audience on a journey through memory, territory, and social transformations.
This will be followed by music with the engaging energy of Santino Cardamone and his band. An evening that combines culture and entertainment in a context that highlights Calabrian excellence and the history of the territory.
