Crotone - Desire for Theatre

With "Desire for Theatre", Crotone welcomes the 2026 theatre season, a cultural journey that spans the months from January to April and enlivens two symbolic locations in the city: the Apollo Theatre and the "V. Scaramuzza" Municipal Theatre.

The programme offers a varied schedule ranging from contemporary prose to the great traditional texts, with plays by authors such as Pirandello, Pinter and Dario Fo, performed by leading figures from the Italian theatre scene. The season opens in January and takes the audience on a journey of emotions, irony and reflection, alternating recitals, theatrical adaptations and productions that focus on the power of words and actors.
