Open couple, almost wide open

A classic Italian comedy that tells the tragicomic story of a married couple, children of Sixty-Eight and the changing civil conscience of the Belpaese. The evolution of bourgeois marriage is seen in the light of the legislative reforms of the 1970s and the transformations of family units and their development from a socio-anthropological point of view. Written by Dario Fo and Franca Rame, "Open Couple, Almost Wide Open" brings to the stage male psychology and the related intolerance to the concept of monogamy.

The play will be staged at the Cinema Teatro Apollo in Crotone on 8 May 2024.
