On Friday 20 June 2025, the Villa Vecchia in Cosenza will be brought back to life. Following the redevelopment of the historic centre, the historic urban garden is preparing to host a grand opening party from 6:30 p.m. to midnight, with a programme full of music, entertainment, tastings and surprises for all ages.
The event marks the official opening of the Cosenza Summer Fest, the summer festival that will enliven the city with cultural events, shows at the Arena Rendano and the return of the Festival delle Invasioni.

For the first time, from Piazza XV Marzo, it will be possible to observe the city from above aboard an anchored hot air balloon. An exciting experience to enjoy at sunset or under the stars.
