Co.Ro Film Fest - Voices from the South

Corigliano-Rossano is hosting the Co.Ro Film Fest – Voices from the South, a festival dedicated to short films that encourages dialogue between viewers, directors, and actors on issues and stories from contemporary Southern Italy. 

The festival will run from January to February 2026 with over ten events, including screenings for students, sessions open to the public, and meetings with authors for debates and in-depth discussions. The event will take place in various venues around the city, including the Teatro Cittadella dei Ragazzi, the Spazio Reale Mutua, and the Castello Ducale di Corigliano, creating a journey that combines cinema, architecture, and local history.

Numerous leading figures from Italian and Calabrian cinema will take part in the festival to talk about their artistic careers and engage in dialogue with the public, including prominent directors, screenwriters, and actors, with meetings moderated by Erminia Madeo, who will accompany the discussions and in-depth analysis. This is a valuable opportunity to experience cinema not only on screen, but also through the voices and stories of those who create it.
