Cropalati welcomes back "Christmas in Cropalati", a programme designed to let families experience the magic of the festive season and rediscover the town's traditions.
The festivities begin with the lighting of the Christmas tree, accompanied by candyfloss and popcorn for everyone. The square is transformed into Santa's Village, where young and old alike can meet the friendly festive guest, and thanks to the 'Santa Claus at your house' initiative, the magic will come directly to children's homes.
The streets of the town come to life with the Living Nativity Scene, a scenic route that combines spirituality and tradition, while music, shows and the Christmas Concert make the atmosphere even more evocative. New Year's Eve will be celebrated with Maestro Cosimo Papandrea, followed by an emotional comedy show by the theatre company 8&9 Codex Rossano. The Christmas celebrations will come to an end with the arrival of the Befana, sharing the last moments of the festivities together.
