On 15 and 16 November 2025, the village of Martone will open its streets to the Chestnut Festival, an event that celebrates one of the fruits that symbolises autumn and Calabrian tradition.
Amidst alleys fragrant with roasted chestnuts and ancient flavours, the festival will offer visitors an authentic journey into local culture, with tastings of chestnuts, traditional sweets and peasant dishes, accompanied by folk music, shows and entertainment for all ages.
