From 24 May 2025 to 6 March 2026, Lamezia Terme will become the beating heart of culture with the third edition of “Caudex – Literary Visions”, the festival conceived and directed by Sabrina Pugliese that intertwines words, music and theatre in a unique journey on the national scene.
Selected by the Turin International Book Fair as one of the 50 best Italian festivals in the “Luci sui Festival” initiative, Caudex offers thirteen events, many of which are exclusive to the region and all with free admission, featuring prominent guests such as Umberto Galimberti, Sigfrido Ranucci, Toni Capuozzo and Francesco Borgonovo, together with writers, journalists and artists capable of offering the public intense and multi-sensory experiences.
The theme chosen for this edition is “The value of fragility”, with a particular focus on women and the female world. From the stories of Frida Kahlo to the poetry of Maram Al Masri, from the narrative power of authors such as Milena Palminteri and Giusy Staropoli Calafati to the reflections of Galimberti and Ranucci, the festival invites you to discover literature as a space for discussion, emotion and self-knowledge.
A rich and varied programme that, through novels, lectures, readings and performances, transforms Lamezia into an open cultural laboratory, where words meet music, theatre and dance to portray fragility not as a limitation, but as a value to be cherished and shared.
