Carnival of Rota Greca

Rota Greca gets ready to celebrate Carnival with a day of fun, masks, and tradition. On Sunday, February 15, 2026, starting at 2:30 p.m., an explosion of colors will fill the streets with floats, masks, and music for an exciting event that will entertain young and old alike.

The Rota Greca Carnival, organized by Pro Loco Rota Greca in collaboration with the municipality, features a large masked parade open to all and the third edition of the Most Beautiful Mask competition, which will reward the creativity and originality of the participants. The competition has two categories: children aged 0 to 12 and adults aged 13 and over. Registration is open until February 10, 2026.

During the day, visitors will be able to taste traditional Calabrian carnival specialties at the food stands. The festive atmosphere will be enriched by music and dances, creating an opportunity for conviviality that brings residents and visitors together in an atmosphere of spontaneous joy.
