Mormanno comes alive with traditional carnival celebrations, including parades of masked groups and allegorical floats. The event offers the opportunity to enjoy moments of celebration and sharing, promoting creativity and community participation through festive activities in the historic center.
The event unfolds in three main stages. It begins on Sunday, February 8, with the Carnevale della Valle (Valley Carnival) and the gathering of groups in Laino Castello in Piazza Primo Maggio. On Saturday, February 14, and Monday, February 16, Mormanno hosts the celebrations with floats, and parades along the streets of the center, enriched with music and entertainment.
The initiative, coordinated by the Pro Loco of Mormanno, promotes local carnival traditions, encouraging collective participation and creative expression within the community.
