Maida is preparing to host one of the year’s most anticipated events: the 2026 Maida Carnival, scheduled for February 14, 15, and 17, 2026. Organized by the New Generation Association with the patronage of the Municipality of Maida and the Calabria Region, the carnival will offer a rich program of events for all ages.
The program features the traditional parade of allegorical floats through the town’s streets, along with a wide range of entertainment. Highlights include children’s activities with games and creative workshops, live music, dancing, and performances by street artists.
During the event, Maida will be transformed into an open-air stage where tradition and fun come together to offer moments of leisure and socializing for the community and visitors.
