On Sunday, 12 April 2026, the Odeon Theatre in Paola will host "Calabria Dance Edition", an international dance competition organised by Danze Italia. The event celebrates the rich diversity of dance styles from around the world.
Bringing together dancers and schools from a variety of backgrounds, the event offers an opportunity for artistic exchange and development through performances spanning classical, neoclassical, modern, contemporary, hip-hop and cross-genre dance styles.
The day will be a meeting point for technique, interpretation and creativity, with a jury of industry professionals including choreographers and artists who are active in the dance world.
The competition provides a platform for showcasing emerging talent and promoting dance culture, thereby enriching the region's cultural offerings and fostering exchange between diverse artistic experiences.
