The National Library of Cosenza is taking part in the celebrations for the 18th anniversary of Marco Polo's death with an exhibition dedicated to the history of Calabria and its role in the cultural and economic exchanges of the time.
The inauguration will take place on 28 February 2025 at 9 a.m., with a meeting between scholars, researchers and experts from the area, who will explore the link between the productions of the past and today's technologies. The bibliographic exhibition, enriched by precious book materials, archival assets and historical-artistic finds made accessible thanks to new technologies, has been organised in collaboration with the Physics Department of the University of Calabria, the Bretti and Sea Museum of Cetraro, the Dynamic Silk Museum of Mendicino and the Unesco Cosenza Club.
The exhibition will be open from 28 February to 24 April 2025 at the ‘Giorgio Leone’ Hall of the National Library of Cosenza, from Monday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. and on Fridays from 9 a.m. to 1.30 p.m.
