Broad Beans Festival

In the heart of the Crotone Sila, one of the most eagerly awaited events of the spring returns to Cerenzia: the IV edition of the Broad Bean Festival, scheduled for Saturday 3 May 2025, starting at 5 p.m. in Piazza Municipio.

An event that celebrates the flavours of rural tradition, in an atmosphere of feasting and sharing. The absolute protagonist, of course, is the broad bean, proposed in many tasty variants together with typical local products such as cold meats, cheeses, homemade bread and the ‘’sauza‘’, a dish that symbolises the gastronomic culture of Cerentino.

Making the atmosphere even more enthralling will be the folkloristic performances of the Giganti di Varapodio, with music, drums and colours of the Calabrian tradition, and closing the evening with a concert by Antonio Londino, for dancing and singing under the stars.
