Art in the hands

The Samarcanda APS Association, chaired by Professor Manuelita Iacopetta, presents "Art in the hands", the third edition of the exhibition event for the valorisation of Calabrian artistic handicrafts. The event will be held on 13 and 14 July 2024, in the green spaces of the Antico Mulino delle Fate in the woods where history and mystery have been mingling for centuries, at the foot of the Norman-Swabian Castle of Nicastro. It should be remembered that the Antico Mulino delle Fate has received the prestigious first international prize "The Factory in the Landscape" promoted by FICLU for UNESCO. This is also thanks to the collaboration with the cultural association Amici dell'Antico Mulino delle Fate, chaired by engineers Anna Filardo and Fabio Aiello.

The kermesse is intended to be an opportunity to celebrate the flair and creativity of many Calabrian artists who have always represented excellence in the production and craftsmanship of true works of art, unique and original artefacts that also have great cultural, aesthetic and anthropological as well as historical value.
