Ars et Societas Award
Castrovillari hosts the third edition of the cultural award celebrating Calabrians of excellence

Prizes and Competitions
On Sunday 29 June 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at the ‘Angelo Giannoni’ conference hall of the Circolo Cittadino in Castrovillari, the award ceremony of the third edition of the ‘Ars et Societas’ Cultural Prize, promoted and conceived by the Circolo Cittadino Cultural Association, will be held.
Each year, the initiative recognises the talent and commitment of Calabrians who, with skill and passion, have been able to distinguish themselves in different fields, bringing value beyond regional borders and contributing to the prestige of an industrious and dynamic Calabria.
For the 2025 edition, the prize will be awarded to three figures who have distinguished themselves for professional and cultural merits:
- Gemma Gesualdi, journalist - Rome
- Delly Fabiano, lecturer - Cosenza (University of Calabria)
- Davide Mainieri, CNR researcher - Castrovillari
The meeting will be moderated by journalist Prof. Luigi Troccoli.
The ‘Ars et Societas’ award is thus confirmed as an opportunity to valorise the intelligence, creativity and social responsibility of those who, through their work, contribute to building a positive and active image of Calabria.
