2025 “Aroldo Tieri” Award: Paola Pitagora receives recognition for a lifetime dedicated to the performing arts

On Saturday 21 June 2025, at 6:30 p.m., the Hall of Mirrors at the Ducal Castle in Corigliano-Rossano will host the eighth edition of the “Aroldo Tieri – A Life for the Performing Arts” National Award, an event of excellence that combines culture, memory and great theatre.
This year, the prestigious award will be presented to Paola Pitagora, an actress beloved by the Italian public for her long career in theatre, cinema and television. It will be presented by Giuliana Lojodice, guest of honour for the evening and life and artistic partner of the great Aroldo Tieri.
The ceremony, hosted by Erminia Madeo, will be opened by institutional greetings from Mayor Flavio Stasi and Deputy Mayor and Councillor for Culture Giovanni Pistoia, with an introduction by journalist Ernesto Paura, president of the Award Coordination Committee.
During the evening, Paola Pitagora will talk to the audience about her life in the spotlight, sharing her emotions, anecdotes and reflections. A lively and passionate dialogue that will also pay tribute to Aroldo Tieri, who was born in Corigliano in 1917 and was deeply attached to his homeland.
