"Accidental Death of an Anarchist", written by Dario Fo and Franca Rame, will be performed in a new production directed by Giorgio Gallione. The production offers a dynamic, contemporary reinterpretation of one of the most famous texts in Italian political theater, combining sharp writing and powerful staging.
At the center of the stage stands the "Matto", played by Lodo Guenzi, an actor and singer renowned for his versatility, who leads the audience through a fast-paced and unpredictable theatrical score. The staging shifts between comedy and the grotesque, drawing on the mechanisms of the comedy of errors and the physical language of slapstick, without ever losing the critical and civic dimension that defines the work.
The show highlights the text’s power to interrogate the present through the language of theater, inviting reflection without losing its irony and reaffirming the stage as a space for collective dialogue and awareness.
