"San Francesco di Paola" Bridge (Calatrava Bridge)

The bridge built in Cosenza by the archistar Santiago Calatrava is an important architectural mark in Italy. The structure, which joins the two districts of the city separated by Crati river, is characterized by the "antenna", the element that supports the steel cablesand the road deck. The bridge is a symbol of strong scenic impact: it has a length of 140 meters, a pylon in high steel 104 and weighs 800 tons.
