Historical building

Summer residence of the family De Aloe that owns it for over two centuries, has been opened to the public in 1991 after a careful restoration work. Palazzo del Capo occupies the promontory of Capo Bonifati, westernmost point of Tyrrhenian coast. A tower of sighting of Spanish period (sixteenth century) it is the fulcrum, testifying to periods in which the area was plagued by pirate attacks, but also to peaceful trade. A large garden, protected by a sturdy wall that overlooks the sea, and a park of sixteen thousand square meters complete the ensemble recognized as "Heritage of Artistic and Historical Interest" in 1985.
