マンニャ・グレチャ（マグナ・グラエキア）に遡るルーツを持つカラブリアの千年を超える 歴史は、時が止まったような村々、ひっそりと佇む城塞、遺跡・史跡群を通してみることが できます。

一年を通じ、どの季節の訪問も理想的なカラブリア。
夏には海と山の両方でリラックスとアドベンチャーを楽しみ、冬には海を見下ろす抜群のロ ケーションでスキーも可能です。

オーセンティックでウェルカム精神にあふれたイタリア半島つま先の州・カラブリアは、豊 かな自然、独特の文化と独自の食文化が融合し、訪問者にユニークな体験を提供する場所で す。

The Calabria Region is participating in Expo Osaka 2025 within the Italy Pavilion, with the aim of sharing its vision for the future through an immersive installation structured in three acts: “Porta di Benvenuto” (Welcome Gate), the “Portici del Saper Fare” (Porticoes of Know-How), and “Patrimonio Futuro” (Future Heritage). Designed as symbolic arches, these spaces guide visitors through a unique experience that begins at the Welcome Gate, where a large tapestry-map sets the stage for discovering the tip of Italy and its global connections. The journey continues through the Porticoes of Know-How, where eight finely crafted wooden trunks hold the artisanal knowledge of the region: worked metals, ceramics, textiles, and essences tell the story of a tradition that evolves without losing its identity. Finally, with Future Heritage, the visitor is invited to look beyond the present. Here, among ancient forests, Greek temples, and timeless villages, history blends with forward-looking visions that suggest new possibilities for the future.

カラブリア州は2025年大阪万博のイタリア館に出展し、「歓迎の門」、「技術の柱廊」、「 未来への遺産」の3つの展示を通して、カラブリア州の未来像を世界に発信します。

これらのスペースは、象徴的で来場者にユニークな体験を提供する展示として考案されまし た。来場者はまず、場内マップが掲げられた「歓迎の門」をくぐります。続く「技術の柱廊 」では、8つのボックスに収められた州伝統の職人技～金属加工、陶磁器、織物、天然香料 など～が、それぞれの技術の変遷と、現代まで伝えられたアイデンティティを物語り、来訪 者をイタリア半島つま先の州と世界とのつながりを見出す旅へと誘います。

そして最後の「未来への遺産」は、未来に向けられた視線に寄り添います。ここでは、深い 森、古代ギリシャ神殿や悠久の時を超え続く村々などで紡がれてきた歴史が新たなビジョン と混ざり、示唆される近未来の様子を展示します。
