DAY 1 - Lamezia Terme - Torre Sant'Antonio - Badolato
Morning: Your journey begins in Lamezia Terme, an easily accessible central Calabrian city. From here, take the SS106 south along the Ionian coast. This stretch will give you incredible views of the sea and mountains.
Afternoon in Badolato: After about 20 minutes, reach the medieval village of Badolato, with its narrow streets, castle, and local traditions. Take time to explore and enjoy typical dishes in a local trattoria.
Visit Santa Caterina dello Ionio: Continue along a mountain road that will take you to Santa Caterina dello Ionio. This village overlooking the sea is a peaceful corner of wilderness with timeless charm.
Dinner and overnight stay: End the day with dinner at the La Sena agritourism and an overnight stay in Torre Sant'Antonio, an ancient watchtower offering spectacular views of the sea.
DAY 2 - Locri - Ruins of Locri Epizefiri - Return to Lamezia Terme
