Wine, Notes and Drops of Honey

In the heart of the Catanzaro hills, Amaroni celebrates the flavours and knowledge of its identity with "Wine, Notes and Drops of Honey", an event that combines tradition, gastronomy and music in a unique multisensory experience.

The event will take place on 11 October 2025 in the historic town centre, where, starting at 5 pm, "The Harvest Workshop" will come to life, an interactive workshop that evokes the ancient ritual of 'old-fashioned' grape pressing, with barefoot grape treading. From 7.30 pm, the streets of the village will come alive with 'U mangiara dà vindigna', a taste trail dedicated to typical Calabrian dishes: fried cod and anchovies, stuffed peppers, aubergines in oil and capicchjadhu d'a' pansisca, accompanied by wine and honey, symbols of the territory. The evening will culminate at 8:00 pm with a travelling show by the Cala Street Band, which will bring rhythm and joy to the historic centre in a festive and convivial atmosphere.

During the event, cultural itineraries will guide visitors on a discovery of the village's places of interest, including history, traditions and authentic flavours.
