In the heart of the Pollino National Park, the Judaica of Laino Borgo takes place every year. We are in the province of Cosenza and Laino Borgo is one of the places where an ancient Easter rite takes place that, as its name suggests, evokes the Judaic tradition of Easter festivities.
The Judaica of Laino Borgo is the living representation of the Passion of Christ, from the Last Supper to the Deposition, passing through the most significant moments: 19 scenes in total with more than 150 participants.
The village becomes a unique location for an event that combines faith, tradition and spirituality and makes the numerous visitors understand the identity significance for which Laino Borgo is also called ‘’Jerusalem of the South‘’.
