On Sunday, February 8, 2026, at 4:30 p.m., Cirò Marina will host the presentation of Armando Taliano Grasso's book Le necropoli brettie nel territorio di Crimisa (The Brettian necropolises in the Crimisa area), an event of great cultural and archaeological interest.
The meeting is promoted by the Amici del Max and the Caminetto Archeologico and represents a valuable opportunity to deepen knowledge of the territory of Crimisa through the study of the Brettian necropolises. The volume, the result of careful documentary research, restores value to little-known archival sources, offering new insights into the reading and interpretation of the local archaeological heritage.
The author will be joined by Professor Fabrizio Mollo, lecturer in Classical Archaeology at the University of Messina, who will guide the audience through an accessible but scientifically rigorous reading, capable of engaging scholars, enthusiasts, and curious minds alike. The publisher, Dr. Settimio Ferrari, will also be present.
At the end of the event, it will be possible to participate in a dinner prepared by archaeologist-chef Salvatore Murano, available exclusively by reservation; the cost of the dinner is not included in the event.
